Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our growing team at a next level Contracting, Inc. The ideal candidate will help support our expanding business by working closely with our dynamic team by performing a variety of accounting duties. Strong teamwork skills are crucial as collaboration with our team will be necessary.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Enter subcontractor payables in QuickBooks.
- Check the accuracy of business transactions.
- Perform data entry and administrative duties.
- Assist with ordering materials and other projects as needed.
- Other accounting duties as needed.
- Phone Answering as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proactive attitude.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and manage time well.
- Excellent work ethics.
- Computer skills, including Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook.
- Experience with Quickbooks required.
- 2 years of accounting experience required.
Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts
- Full-time: In person.
- Monday to Friday
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
